Rukh’s Letter to the President of the European Parliament on EP’s Resolution

First of all, let me thank You and all Members of the European Parliament for the resolution adopted on the 25th of February 2010 on the situation in Ukraine in the light of its present complicated political situation. In this resolution the EP supported Ukraine’s course towards the European integration and, for the first time, stated that Ukraine as a European state that adheres to the principles of liberty, democracy, respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, and the rule of law, in accordance with the European legislation may apply for the EU membership.

I won’t be signing universals and memorandums with him because I do not recognize him as the president of Ukraine and do not accept his anti-Ukrainian and anti-European policies.
