The Kyiv Administrative Court of Appeals has canceled the illegal decision by the Central Election Commission allowing only two representatives of polling station commissions to be present during homebound voting.

The Central Election Commission violated the law in adopting the resolution on the number of election commission members to accompany the ballot boxes for voting at home, reported Yulia Tymoshenko’s campaign manager Oleksandr Turchynov. 
On February 7, 2010 the second round of Presidential elections takes place in Ukraine. 
The President of the European People’s Party Wilfried Martens expressed today his concern about changes in the Ukrainian electoral law.
